Andrew Goodfellow
As a key founder of the innovation team at StudioNorth, Andy is pioneering the transformation of the communication landscape with thought leadership on innovation, technology, and business. When he’s not prototyping a surface computer interface, pushing the limits of mobile app functionality, or integrating motion tracking algorithms to enhance the user experience, he’s keeping a watchful eye on the technology trends that will be shaping the way our clients communicate with their customers. Andy’s rich experience and visionary commitment to innovation helps StudioNorth provide results-driven solutions to our clients. Before joining StudioNorth in 2001, Andy led technology offerings for Tribune Company, Chase, and Waste Management and its subsidiaries. Andy holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
Chris Cacci
Chris is responsible for overseeing design and creative strategy for StudioNorth clients in the healthcare, technology, education and manufacturing industries. She combines a wealth of experience in B2B and B2C communications. She has spearheaded branding campaigns in multiple media for high-profile companies, to help their brands break through “competitive clouds” and strengthen their industry positions. Before joining StudioNorth, she was the Graphic Design Director at Shedd Aquarium in Chicago. She held senior-level design positions at leading Chicago-area and east coast firms, working on accounts such as Abbott, Coca-Cola, United Airlines, The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and American Hospital Association. Chris has a Master’s degree in Design Methods from The Institute of Design at Illinois Institute of Technology in innovation strategies and “design thinking,” to continue to challenge convention and deliver value to breakthrough problem solving.
Doug Duty
Doug is responsible for ensuring our clients receive the highest level of collaborative, value-added service. From helping to identify and define program goals and objectives to measuring the real results of our clients’ brand communication programs, Doug and his team in Client Services are truly dedicated to delivering breakthrough solutions. On board since 1988, Doug is a StudioNorth veteran who has directed hundreds of successful communication programs for clients in a wide range of industries. With diverse experience in strategy, design, print production, web development, multimedia, and video, Doug’s creative approach to marketing communications has a tremendous impact on the Studio’s success.
Margie Mandli
Margie Mandli is a marketing strategist for StudioNorth, and has more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations and marketing. Currently, she consults clients on using new and different ways to market their brands. Most recently, she has developed video series for both non-profit and corporate clients. She has also developed and implemented award-winning digital and social media marketing strategies.
Mark Schneider
Mark leads the creative team in developing breakthrough visual communications solutions at StudioNorth. With more than 25 years of experience in print and digital communications, Mark plays a leading role in understanding each client’s strategic goals and ensuring that we deliver focused, innovative, and effective design and content that is in alignment with those objectives. He is also working in conjunction with Andy Goodfellow on INNOV8, a thought leadership initiative to proactively collect, prototype, measure, and market new innovation offerings. Under Mark’s seasoned guidance, StudioNorth’s creative team has earned many local and national design awards for its work. Mark has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Illinois.
Michael Matteoni
Michael Matteoni is the Vice President of Operations at StudioNorth. He is responsible for all the business operations of the agency, including human resources, with more than 28 years of management experience and with 17 years in small business operations. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society of Human Resources Management.
Tony Chen
Tony Chen is Social Media Strategist for StudioNorth where he is responsible for advising clients on social media strategies that broaden and deepen their relationship with customers. Tony has launched several ventures with an integral social element, including Movement121, Savvy Daddy, and FDAzilla. Tony’s first social media company, a hospital industry blog called Hospital Impact, was launched in 2005 and acquired in 2009 by a publishing company.
